Q1: Do you have the card I want in stock?

We currently have all cards in stock. However some of our clearance cards are in limited supply and once they are sold out they will no longer be available. If a card is sold out and can’t be produced again, our site will not display it. If your quantity request exceeds our inventory on hand, you will be notified by e-mail and you can make a second choice to make up the difference.

Q2: What options are available for me to personalize my holiday card?

Using our state of the art design software, you have many options in customizing the inside of your card. Please remember that you are only customizing the inside panels of the fold over card. The art appearing on the front of the cards is not modifiable in any way. As a default, we show the Children’s Wish logo in support of this worthy cause. You can choose to remove this if you like. We give you a choice of many heartfelt messages that you can use, edit, or delete and create your own personal thoughts. You can choose your favorite typestyle from our library as well as ink color from our color palette. You have a choice of full color or single color imprinting. If choosing full color, please upload a CMYK logo and then choose the various colors of text from our palette. If you are choosing to produce a single color card, then all logos and text will print in that one standard color. Remember that we are always available to help so please contact us.

Q3: Are my cards proofed by someone else?

No, due to the volume of orders we produce, we are unable to proof each card. We do have a proofing screen where you can view your card layout exactly as it will appear on the final product. CharityCards.ca cannot be responsible for errors in type or layout created by the end user. Please see our guarantee for more details.

Q4: Is it possible to include our company logo?

Yes. All of our cards can have a logo added. They must be high quality in order to print well. A TIFF, JPEG, PNG or GIF should be preferably 300 dpi. We also accept vector art as a PDF or EPS file. Images from a website are normally 72 dpi and can not be used for print purposes. Our easy 1,2,3 software allows you to quickly upload your logo and size it. Logos and images will be printed in full colour.

Q5: Can I include signatures in my card imprint?

We can produce signatures on your cards for an additional price. This feature is not available on our website. Please contact us for more information.

Q6: What are my options for ordering and payment?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, Paypal and personal checks & money orders. Please keep in mind that we are unable to begin your order until your payment is received. If you prefer you can e-mail orders@charitycards.ca, fax your order to 416-391-9279 or simply call us at 1-877-671-1212 (Mon. - Fri. 9-5 ET) and we would be happy to process your order over the phone.

Q7: Will I receive email confirmation of my order and an invoice?

Yes. Upon submitting your order, you will immediately receive an emailed invoice for your records. If you do not receive this emailed confirmation, please check your junk mail or contact us.

Q8: How long will it take for me to get my cards once I've ordered?

Unless otherwise requested, all our shipments are sent UPS ground. All cards ship within 3-5 business days of receipt of your order (except cards requiring special artwork, like a custom verse or logo - they take 5-7 days in house before shipping). Shipping time will range from 1-6 days depending on where you live and your shipping method of choice. You can calculate your cost before ordering to determine the best method of shipping to fit your needs.

Q9: What can I expect to pay for shipping?

You are charged the actual shipping charges from UPS, plus a small handling fee. Our website is directly connected with the UPS database system so our rates are very reasonable.

Q10: Do I have to pay sales tax?

For orders shipped to Ontario you pay 5% GST + 8% PST.
For orders shipped to Quebec, PEI, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador you pay 13% HST.
For orders shipped to the rest of Canada you pay 5% GST.
For orders shipped outside of Canada, no tax is charged.

Q11: Can the envelopes be printed?

Yes. Just check the optional print envelopes section to set up your envelope. Remember to proof it carefully. Envelopes are printed on the back flap in black ink only. Sorry, no logo can appear on the envelope.

Q12: How much money goes to the Children’s Wish?

Charitycards.ca is very proud of our long standing relationship with The Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada. Over the past 10 years we have raised over $600,000 to help grant wishes for Canadian children. We give 20% of the net selling price of the card to The Children’s Wish Foundation charity.
